Description

BBQ chicken sliders are perfect for feeding a crowd. These easy party sandwiches are great for Super Bowl or any party dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 bottle (18 oz) BBQ sauce
  • 1 package (12 count) Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 1/2 cup coleslaw (optional)
  • 1/4 cup sliced pickles (optional)


Instructions

  1. Place chicken thighs in a slow cooker.
  2. Pour BBQ sauce over chicken.
  3. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until chicken is easily shredded.
  4. Shred chicken with two forks.
  5. Slice Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally.
  6. Place shredded BBQ chicken on the bottom half of the rolls.
  7. Top with coleslaw and pickles, if desired.
  8. Cover with the top half of the rolls.
  9. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a dash of hot sauce to the BBQ sauce.
  • You can use chicken breasts instead of thighs. Cooking time may vary.
  • These sliders can be assembled ahead of time and reheated.
