Description
BBQ chicken sliders are perfect for feeding a crowd. These easy party sandwiches are great for Super Bowl or any party dinners.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 bottle (18 oz) BBQ sauce
- 1 package (12 count) Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 1/2 cup coleslaw (optional)
- 1/4 cup sliced pickles (optional)
Instructions
- Place chicken thighs in a slow cooker.
- Pour BBQ sauce over chicken.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until chicken is easily shredded.
- Shred chicken with two forks.
- Slice Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally.
- Place shredded BBQ chicken on the bottom half of the rolls.
- Top with coleslaw and pickles, if desired.
- Cover with the top half of the rolls.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a dash of hot sauce to the BBQ sauce.
- You can use chicken breasts instead of thighs. Cooking time may vary.
- These sliders can be assembled ahead of time and reheated.
