These banana oatmeal bars are a perfect healthy snack or breakfast option. They are easy to make and packed with nutrients.
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 3 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas.
- Add oats, milk, honey, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt to the bowl with the mashed bananas. Mix well.
- Stir in nuts and chocolate chips (if using).
- Pour mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
Notes
- For a vegan option, use plant-based milk and maple syrup instead of honey.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- You can add other fruits like blueberries or chopped apples.
