Description

These banana oatmeal bars are a perfect healthy snack or breakfast option. They are easy to make and packed with nutrients.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas.
  3. Add oats, milk, honey, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt to the bowl with the mashed bananas. Mix well.
  4. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips (if using).
  5. Pour mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool completely before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • For a vegan option, use plant-based milk and maple syrup instead of honey.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the refrigerator for up to a week.
