Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tbsp ghee
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 2-3 green chilies, slit
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish


Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken with turmeric powder, salt, and lemon juice for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat ghee in a pan. Add onions and green chilies; saute until golden brown.
  3. Add ginger-garlic paste and saute for a minute.
  4. Add coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and black pepper powder. Saute until fragrant.
  5. Add marinated chicken and salt. Cook until chicken is browned.
  6. Cover and cook until chicken is tender and cooked through, about 15-20 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  8. Serve hot with rice or roti.
