Description

Quick and easy 20-minute garlic chicken stir fry. Perfect for a simple and healthy dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, cornstarch, and sesame oil. Set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add garlic, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, and broccoli to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are tender-crisp, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Pour sauce over chicken and vegetables. Cook until sauce thickens, about 1-2 minutes.
  6. Serve over cooked rice.

Notes

  • For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
  • You can substitute other vegetables, such as carrots, snap peas, or zucchini.
  • Serve with brown rice or quinoa for a healthier option.
