Description

Easy candied cinnamon pecans made in the slow cooker. Perfect for holidays or as a sweet snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Combine pecan halves, granulated sugar, brown sugar, butter, evaporated milk, cinnamon, and salt in your slow cooker.
  2. Stir to coat the pecans evenly.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours, stirring every 30 minutes, until the sugar mixture is melted and coats the pecans.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Spread the candied pecans onto parchment paper to cool completely.
  6. Once cooled, break apart any clumps.
