Description

A simple and flavorful sheet pan dinner featuring teriyaki salmon and crisp green beans. This recipe is perfect for a quick and healthy weeknight meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together teriyaki sauce, olive oil, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
  3. Place the trimmed green beans on one side of the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with half of the teriyaki mixture and toss to coat.
  4. Place the salmon fillets on the other side of the baking sheet. Brush the tops of the salmon with the remaining teriyaki mixture.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork, and the green beans are tender-crisp.
  6. Garnish with sesame seeds and serve immediately with cooked rice.

Notes

  • Adjust baking time based on the thickness of your salmon fillets.
  • For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the teriyaki sauce.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables like broccoli florets or bell pepper strips.
