Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound asparagus, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish, optional)
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Add the peeled and deveined shrimp and trimmed asparagus to the bowl with the sauce. Toss to coat everything evenly.
- Spread the shrimp and asparagus in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Season with salt and black pepper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and cooked through, and the asparagus is tender-crisp.
