Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Prep the pan: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment or grease it well.
- Mix the wet ingredients: In a large bowl, melt the butter. Stir in cocoa powder until smooth, then add sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Whisk well for 1 minute.
- Add dry ingredients: Fold in flour and salt until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Fold in chocolate chips: Stir in chips, reserving a few to sprinkle on top if desired.
- Bake: Pour batter into prepared pan and bake 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
