Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 8 ounces cooked noodles (spaghetti, linguine, or ramen)
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. Drain any excess grease.
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, sesame oil, ginger, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Pour the sauce over the ground beef and bring to a simmer. Cook until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
- Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to your spice preference.
- Use any type of noodles you like.
- For a sweeter sauce, add more brown sugar.
