Description

Enjoy a quick and flavorful Mongolian Ground Beef Noodles recipe. It is better than takeout and ready in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 8 ounces cooked noodles (spaghetti, linguine, or ramen)
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. Drain any excess grease.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, sesame oil, ginger, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  3. Pour the sauce over the ground beef and bring to a simmer. Cook until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce.
  5. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to your spice preference.
