These Irresistible Rotel Cream Cheese Sausage Balls are a crowd-pleasing appetizer perfect for game days, parties, or any casual gathering. They combine savory sausage, creamy cheese, and zesty Rotel tomatoes into easy-to-make, bite-sized balls.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound bulk pork sausage
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (10 ounces) Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies, drained
  • 2 cups biscuit baking mix (like Bisquick)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the bulk pork sausage, softened cream cheese, drained Rotel tomatoes, biscuit baking mix, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until well combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls.
  4. Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, use a “hot” variety of Rotel.
  • You can freeze the uncooked balls for later baking.
