Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Cooked rice, for serving
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
- Chopped green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
- Add garlic, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using) to the skillet.
- Bring to a simmer and cook until the sauce has thickened slightly, about 2-3 minutes.
- Serve chicken over cooked rice.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to your spice preference.
- For a thicker sauce, whisk 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water and add to the skillet during the last minute of cooking.
