Description

A simple and delicious one-pan meal featuring tender steak, roasted potatoes, and a rich honey garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into cubes
  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread on a baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes, or until tender and slightly browned.
  3. While potatoes roast, season steak cubes with salt and pepper.
  4. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat.
  5. Add steak to the skillet and sear on all sides until browned. Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
  6. Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  7. Stir in honey and soy sauce. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  8. Return steak to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  9. Add roasted potatoes to the skillet and toss everything together.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
  • You can substitute sirloin steak with other cuts like ribeye or New York strip.
  • Ensure potatoes are cooked through before adding them to the skillet.
