Description
A simple and delicious one-pan meal featuring tender steak, roasted potatoes, and a rich honey garlic butter sauce.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into cubes
- 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread on a baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes, or until tender and slightly browned.
- While potatoes roast, season steak cubes with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat.
- Add steak to the skillet and sear on all sides until browned. Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in honey and soy sauce. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return steak to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Add roasted potatoes to the skillet and toss everything together.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- You can substitute sirloin steak with other cuts like ribeye or New York strip.
- Ensure potatoes are cooked through before adding them to the skillet.
