Description
This Select Foil Pack Ravioli Recipe is the ultimate no-mess comfort meal. Made with layers of cheese ravioli, savory sauce, and melty mozzarella, it bakes to perfection in a foil packet for an easy dinner with zero cleanup. Great for busy weeknights, camping trips, or make-ahead meals.
Ingredients
- 1 (16 oz) package cheese ravioli (fresh or frozen)
- 1 ½ cups marinara sauce (or Alfredo, pesto, or vodka sauce)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese (optional)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Chopped basil or parsley, for garnish
- Heavy-duty aluminum foil
- Optional add-ins: cooked sausage, sliced mushrooms, spinach, or bell peppers
Instructions
- Preheat and Prep: Preheat oven to 400°F (or prepare grill to medium heat). Cut foil sheets into 12–16 inch pieces.
- Assemble Foil Packs: Lightly brush foil center with olive oil. Layer 2 tablespoons sauce, a few ravioli, more sauce, mozzarella, parmesan, and any add-ins. Repeat for each pack.
- Seal Packets: Fold foil over filling, crimping edges to seal completely and form a pouch.
- Cook: Place foil packs on a baking sheet (or directly on grill). Bake for 20–25 minutes or grill for 15–20 minutes, flipping once halfway through.
- Serve: Carefully open packs (watch for steam). Garnish with basil or parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Frozen ravioli can be used directly—no need to thaw. Use heavy-duty foil to prevent tearing, especially on the grill. For a browned top, broil foil packs open for the last 2 minutes. Store uncooked packs in the fridge for up to 24 hours before cooking.
