Description

Create fun and festive tree-shaped mini pizzas for a delightful holiday treat. These are perfect for kids and family gatherings during Christmas.

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup mini pepperoni (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper (for garnish)
  • 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and press the seams together to form a rectangle.
  3. Cut the dough into 4 equal rectangles. Cut each rectangle diagonally to form two triangles.
  4. Arrange the triangles on the prepared baking sheet to form tree shapes.
  5. Spread pizza sauce over each dough triangle, leaving a small border.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
  7. If using, place mini pepperoni on top of the cheese.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
  10. Decorate the pizzas with chopped red and green bell peppers to resemble ornaments.
