Description

This Easy Ground Beef Hobo Casserole is a hearty and comforting meal perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup crushed potato chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain any excess grease.
  3. Add chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in frozen mixed vegetables, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Pour the mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and crushed potato chips.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let stand for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute cream of chicken soup for cream of mushroom soup.
