This Select Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Ice Cream is a rich and luxurious frozen treat that combines creamy pistachio ice cream with a crisp dark chocolate shell and buttery kadaifi crunch. Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 3/4 cup pistachio paste (or finely ground roasted pistachios)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon rose water (optional)
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (melted with 1 tsp coconut oil)
- 1/3 cup kadaifi or shredded phyllo, toasted in butter and sugar
- Chopped pistachios for garnish
Instructions
- Make the Base: In a bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, pistachio paste, vanilla, and rose water. Stir until smooth.
- Whip the Cream: In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream to stiff peaks.
- Fold and Freeze: Gently fold the whipped cream into the pistachio mixture. Layer half the mixture into a loaf pan, sprinkle toasted kadaifi, and add remaining mixture on top. Smooth the surface.
- Freeze and Glaze: Freeze for at least 6 hours. Once solid, pour melted chocolate on top and quickly spread. Let sit until chocolate hardens.
