Description
A quick and easy one-pan chicken dish with a rich garlic parmesan sauce. Perfect for a weeknight meal.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides and cooked through (about 5-7 minutes). Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Pour in chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
- Stir in heavy cream and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Return chicken to the skillet and stir to coat with the sauce.
- Simmer for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Season with additional salt and pepper if needed.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Serve with pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
- For a thicker sauce, simmer for a few extra minutes.
- Add vegetables like spinach or broccoli for extra nutrition.
