Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup long-grain rice, uncooked
  • 1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, rice, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, milk, chicken broth, mixed vegetables, onion, and garlic powder. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Pour mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  5. Remove foil, sprinkle with cheddar cheese, and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
