Enjoy a Creamy Chicken Burrito Bake, a comforting and easy-to-make casserole.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 packet (1 oz) taco seasoning
- 1 can (4 oz) diced green chilies
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 10 flour tortillas (6-inch)
- Optional toppings: diced tomatoes, green onions, avocado
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, taco seasoning, green chilies, and 1 cup of cheddar cheese.
- Mix well.
- Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Spread a thin layer of the chicken mixture on the bottom of the dish.
- Wrap the remaining chicken mixture into the flour tortillas like burritos.
- Place the filled tortillas seam-side down in the baking dish.
- Top with the remaining 1 cup of cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let stand for a few minutes before serving.
- Garnish with desired toppings.
Notes
- You can use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
- Adjust taco seasoning to your preferred spice level.
- For a spicier dish, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the chicken mixture.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
