This Select Blueberry Matcha Recipe is a refreshing, antioxidant-rich superdrink that blends vibrant matcha, fresh blueberry purée, and your choice of milk into a beautiful layered latte. It’s energizing, naturally sweet, and ready in just minutes—perfect for mornings or mid-day pick-me-ups.


Ingredients

  • 1 tsp ceremonial grade matcha powder
  • 1/4 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey (optional)
  • 1/2 cup hot water (not boiling)
  • 3/4 cup oat milk or preferred milk
  • Ice cubes (for iced version)


Instructions

  1. Make the Blueberry Puree: Blend the blueberries and maple syrup until smooth. For a silky texture, strain to remove skins.
  2. Prepare the Matcha: In a small bowl, sift matcha powder. Add hot water and whisk briskly in a zigzag motion until frothy.
  3. Assemble the Drink: Add ice to a tall glass. Pour in the blueberry puree, then slowly add the milk. Gently float the matcha on top using the back of a spoon.
  4. Serve: Enjoy the layered effect or stir before sipping for a beautiful blend of flavors.

Notes

For a hot version, warm the blueberry puree and milk before assembling. Use ceremonial grade matcha for the best flavor and color. Fresh blueberries give a brighter flavor, but frozen work perfectly for consistency. Add a dash of vanilla for a warm twist.
